Bath Retreat; Vanilla Soufflé

Today I wanted to quickly tell everyone about one of my new favourite products.  Does anyone else get really dry skin during the winter?  I definitely do, I also have eczema. Winter months for me, are horrible on my skin if I don’t take care of it.  I have found a few things this year that I now can’t live without.  I have a spot on my shin, where I get eczema all winter long.  It gets so itchy, I usually end up scratching it to the point where it bleeds.  It’s no fun at all! I find even using eczema creams doesn’t work, the skin still gets dry.  I asked my husband one day when he was at shoppers, to get me a body oil.

At first he couldn’t find anything, then he said “oh wait, Vanilla Soufflé, skin softening body oil”.  I said it sounded good, so he grabbed it and brought it home.  I shop at Shoppers Drug Mart all the time, as it is just around the corner from our house.  I took it out of the bag and realized that it was a spray bottle. Which I loved, it’s always such a pain to try to put oil on with your hands.

I hadn’t heard of Bath Retreat before, so I looked up the company.  It turns out that Shoppers Drug Mart  created Bath Retreat back in October of 2010.  They offer over 70 luxurious bath products.  I can’t believe that I have been shopping there all these years, I have never tried this brand.

This body oil is amazing, I spray it on my legs and body after showering or bathing.  It is silky smooth, It gets absorbed right into the skin.  It doesn’t leave that residue that some other oils do.  The smell is out of this world.  It’s a nice light scent, but it smells amazing.  The best part, ever since I started using it. The eczema on my leg has been almost gone. It’s so moisturizing, I even rub into my hands. Although I can’t remember the exact cost, I think it was around $12.  I’ve had it for a couple of months and I haven’t even used half the bottle.  I have also started spraying it, into my bath. It makes the whole bathroom smell so good.  If you are looking for a good winter product, this is what you need.
